At Windy City Futsal, we are committed to delivering top-notch training and player development. We collaborate closely with dedicated athletes eager to elevate their skills to new heights. Our main goal is to utilize Futsal to enhance our players' tactical and technical abilities, ultimately improving their overall Futsal and soccer performance
Consistent Fundamentals and Execution: Our focus at Windy City Futsal lies in two key areas. First, we aim to provide a unique and unforgettable experience for each of our students. More importantly, strive to instill winning habits in players both on and off the field. Talented individuals cannot realize their full potential without a winning mindset, strong character, and leadership skills. The lessons and values learned through our program—such as Confidence, Responsibility, Teamwork, and Persistence—will benefit them in college, future careers, and throughout life. Our proposed solutions will not only meet these expectations but exceed them through our dedicated processes.
Four points of Success
-
Service Excellence: Ability to serve every student/athlete with the highest level of expertise and experience regardless of the
individual player ability or talent level. We provide authentic and memorable training experiences that players and parents
remember for a lifetime. -
Emphesis on Quality: As experts in our field, we lead, drive results, and deliver on said outcomes exceeding our customers’ expectations.
-
Respect: Our relationship with our players requires more than the traditional coach player relationship. We are not just teaching
them to be the best player they can be, we are instilling life skills to prepare them for the world. -
Passion: We work with our students in developing a mindset in which they can play at any level as long as they work hard and
stay consistent with the development plan.
Our program focuses on three key components:
1.Take what they learn at WCF to make them a better soccer player for their club team and some as national team players.

2.Equip them with the tools necessary in helping make faster decision in small space play by playing the game as it is designed, less playing as set positions and more about being fluid on the court constantly moving (I always tell my players, in Futsal there are no set positions but responsibilities). In soccer there is more time and space to make a mistake, in Futsal a mistake turns into a quick counter attack and goal thus helping their small space game for soccer.

3.The goal is for players to have fun in a competitive, best-on-best environment that pushes them to develop their skills on the court and their character off the court. I aim for these players to grow together over the next 4–5 years, and when it’s time for college references or applications, I want to write letters based on their character, not just their play. While they will have plenty to showcase their abilities on the field, having people who can vouch for their personal character is far more valuable. Not everyone will become a professional or college player, but all of them will become professionals in life. - Matt Ales
